Controller and How to Reach It
The controller of the personal data processed here is whoever runs this website, namely the operator of fortuna-hra.cz. The email address contact@fortuna-hra.cz receives both questions about data processing and requests by which you exercise your rights as a data subject.
Three Sources of Personal Data
The personal data that fortuna-hra.cz works with come from three sources and are processed only as far as needed to run, protect and analyse the website or to answer an enquiry:
- The visit itself. It produces technical data such as IP address, browser, operating system, device type, time of access and the URLs of the pages displayed.
- Cookies, listed in the cookies section.
- Your message to contact@fortuna-hra.cz, from which we process the email address, the text and any signature.
Data on gambling, identity verification and payment transactions are outside the scope of this website, and so are data of Fortuna players.
Why We Need the Data
When you simply browse the website, we process technical data for its operation and security. We rely on the controller's legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and keep the data for 12 months at most, or as long as technical capabilities allow.
If you accept analytical or marketing cookies, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The cookies remain until you withdraw consent, or according to your browser settings.
If you write to us, we process the data in your message so that we can reply. The basis is performance of a contract or legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR), and we keep the data while the enquiry is being handled, for 6 months at most.
These rules derive from the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), from the Czech Personal Data Processing Act, No. 110/2019 Coll., and from § 89 of the Electronic Communications Act, No. 127/2005 Coll.
Data Recipients
We do not hand personal data over to unverified entities, and third parties receive them only where a legal basis exists. Access may be given to two groups of recipients connected with running the website and its analytics:
- Hosting and CDN: ensure that the pages operate, stay available and are secure.
- Web analytics: evaluates statistical traffic data that help optimise the website.
Providers are not named individually unless they can be publicly identified within the website.
International Data Transfers
- When they happen: if the analytics tool comes from a provider established outside the EU or the EEA.
- On what basis: standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
- What the clauses do: they ensure an adequate level of protection for the data even outside the European Union.
- When they do not happen: if no service outside the EU/EEA is used.
What the GDPR Allows You to Do
The protection of your personal data is governed by the GDPR and, in Czech law, by Act No. 110/2019 Coll. Under both:
- you are entitled to know which data we process about you and to access them (Art. 15 GDPR),
- you have the right to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- you may request their erasure (“right to be forgotten”) under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR,
- you can have processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data processed automatically on the basis of consent or a contract can be transferred at your request (Art. 20 GDPR),
- you may lodge an objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR),
- consent you have given can be withdrawn, without casting doubt on the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
Exercising Your Rights
You can exercise any of the rights listed above by sending an email to contact@fortuna-hra.cz. We will reply without undue delay and no later than 30 days after your request arrives. If the request is complex, or a larger number of requests is received, the period may be extended by a further two months, and you will be told about the extension.
Where to File a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint whenever you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law. The complaint is addressed to the supervisory authority:
- Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ)
- street address: Pplk. Sochora 27
- 170 00 Praha 7
- on the internet: www.uoou.cz
What We Do for Security
- We transfer data between the visitor's device and the server securely via HTTPS/TLS.
- We restrict access to personal data through technical and organisational measures that match the state of the art.
- We regularly reassess our security settings and adopt measures that reduce the risk of unauthorised access or misuse.
Cookies on This Website
The term cookies refers to small text files that a website stores on your device. They are used to make the website work properly, to analyse traffic and sometimes to personalise content or advertisements.
Essential cookies
They provide basic functions without which the website might not work. We do not need consent for them (§ 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll.).
Analytical and marketing cookies
Analytical cookies gather anonymised statistics on the use of the website; marketing cookies enable personalised advertising and the tracking of users across several websites. We store both groups only when you give us your consent.
Specific stored data
We store a ck-consent record. It keeps your choice regarding cookie consent and is retained for as long as your browser settings determine.
